Each person brings a unique set of skills, experience, and perspective to our team, helping make IWG the global leader in aircraft water treatment and innovative water system solutions.
David Fox - President & CEO
David Fox has many years of business development and aerospace experience and holds both an
Aeronautical Engineering Degree from the University of London and an MBA from the London
Business School. From 1989 to 1995, he was Vice President and General Manager of Airshow
Canada, a major international aerospace tradeshow. He served as IWG’s Vice President,
Aerospace Business from 1996 to 1998. Until May 2004, David was Vice President, Business
Development for Vortek Industries Ltd., a supplier of high-energy optical systems to the aerospace
/materials testing and semiconductor industries.
Gerald Eiers - Vice President & General Manager
Gerald’s experience with both large and small manufacturing firms gives him a strong background
in marketing and sales. In addition, he provides leadership to IWG’s procurement and
manufacturing teams and oversees the company’s administrative functions, including: human
resources, information technology and facility development. He joined IWG in 1997, and until
January 2001 was responsible for the company’s accounting and administrative functions.
Brian Ulrich -
VP, Engineering
Brian Ulrich joins IWG with an extensive background in project and product management. He has provided strong business and technical leadership for complex engineering projects in the power electronics, opto-electro-mechanical print prepress, space robotics and aerospace industries. Past positions have included Product Manager with Xantrex Technologies of Burnaby, BC, Product Manager with CreoScitex Inc. of Burnaby, BC, Senior Robotics Engineer with Davion Systems, St Bruno, PQ and Rocket Propulsion Design Engineer with Bristol Aerospace Ltd, of Winnipeg, MB.
David Pohl -
Director, Project Engineering
Dave has extensive program management and manufacturing experience in both private industry
and government organizations. For five years before joining IWG in 2001, Dave was a Program
Manager, Business Development Manager, and Manager, Boeing Programs with Avcorp Industries
Inc.,of Delta, British Columbia. For twelve years, Dave was Project/Logistics Manager for Naval
Training Systems in Orlando, Florida, and was responsible for executing multiple U.S. Navy
projects for simulator acquisition. Dave holds an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, a
BS, Engineering Management from the University of North Dakota, and a DoD Procurement
Professional Certificate from the Defense Systems Management College.
Dan Nolan -
Director, Product Development
Dan has many years experience in engineering design and management and holds both a
bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Windsor. Prior to
joining IWG in 2003, Dan held several positions in the water treatment industry including Managing
Director of Calgon Carbon Corporation's Advanced Oxidation business unit and General Manager
of General Chemical Canada’s Water Treatment Chemicals business unit. Previous to that, Dan
held several engineering and management positions in a global chemicals manufacturer. Dan sits
on the executive of the Sea-to-Sky chapter of APEGBC.
Giles Lapierre -
Director, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Lapierre has many years experience in the aerospace industry, including aviation business
development and aircrew training. He began his career with Wardair Canada Ltd. as an Airline
Purser. He has since been a senior executive with a number of technology firms, and an Aircrew
Training Instructor with Canadian Airlines International Ltd. Mr. Lapierre was also the founding
President of LaserArts Ltd., and Aeronett Technologies Limited, which developed pilot training
courseware for both Boeing and Airbus products.
Karen Delaney -
Director, Quality Programs
For the past 9 years Karen has been responsible for IWG’s quality assurance programming and
standards related to manufacturing. In this capacity, she has led the design of IWG’s aviation
QA\QC processes and has assisted the company in obtaining Transport Canada (TC) approval as
both an Approved Manufacturing and Maintenance Operation. Karen has led successful efforts to
obtain many STC’s for IWG’s aviation water treatment units and circulating potable water systems.
Karen also has many years’ experience in quality control for the pharmaceutical industry.
Anita Radman -
Supply Chain Manager
A procurement and supply chain management professional, Anita has comprehensive experience
in high-technology manufacturing, national and international purchasing, and full-cycle supply
chain management. Anita’s background includes Team Lead, Offshore Procurement, Head Buyer,
Senior Buyer and Supply Chain Specialist, and Operations & Growth Analyst with a number of
manufacturing and high-technology firms. She holds a Diploma in Operations & Supply
Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and Advanced Level IV C.P.P
status with the Purchasing Management Association of Canada.
C. Edward Butterfield, C.A. - Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary
Ted has significant experience in managing the financial and business operations of public companies. Prior
to joining IWG in September 2000, he served as CFO and Director of Finance, Business or
Performance Management with a public aerospace component manufacturer. He has also served
as the senior financial officer of several other public and private companies in the manufacturing,
distribution and financial sectors.
